OPEN FRAME HERACULES SOLENOID: Takaha has revolutionized solenoid coils! As a result of our added heat treatment, we’ve boosted pulling power to 40% more than conventional products.

Outline

Why use Heracules solenoid?
1. Gain increased pull force without changing technology or electricity consumption.
2.Use a smaller solenoid while maintaining the same pull force.
3.Increased energy efficiency helps to reduce energy costs.

Applications

A range of different usage applications, together with an ability to function on restricted voltages and currents, are further reasons to consider using these solenoids. For example, Medical and health equipment and Security equipment such as Tablet packing machine, Revolving Auto doors and so on.

Features

The fully patented Heracules solenoid has 3 features you won’t see in usual solenoids.

1. Improved pull force characteristics
2. Smaller size
3. Ability to be mass-produced

The Heracules solenoid is a newly invented product developed through Takaha Kiko’s deployment of “consistent production”, where solenoid manufacturing begins from the component parts.

The difference in pull force can be seen in the graphs below.

CE1040

When used at 64w, there is a 20% difference in pull force between the Heracules solenoid and our equivalent regular solenoid.

20% higher pull force

CE1064

When used at 82w, there is a 37% difference between the Heracules solenoid and our equivalent regular solenoid.

37% higher pull force

In addition to the copper wire this solenoid is composed of materials such as resin and brass, and iron is used in the frame and plunger.

When the ferromagnetic iron materials that make up the solenoid come under the magnetic field of the coil, they magnetize and exert a pulling force.

The Hercules solenoid achieves a stronger pull force than a similar size model of pull solenoid because it uses materials with a higher permeability than standard iron materials, which increases the magnetic flux density, and it minimizes the gap between components.
